Piper

Piper is our new addition. A few weeks ago my cousin Loren found a puppy in the dumpster at school. Sad! He got it out and took it home. My Aunt had 2 dogs already and my cousin Mieka has 1 and so they called here to ask if we wanted another dog. Shawn and I had been considering getting another dog already. Sammy is 13 and very tired. He will play but his playing is short lived. Dominick is rowdy, loud, wild and all the other fun words that come with being a boy. He loves Sammy and tries so hard to play with him. Dominick climbs on him and pulls him and Sammy just can't take it most days. He is patient but he has snapped at Dominick on occasion. Anyway when they called we talked about it and decided to go get her. She was so small and sweet. We couldn't help but love her right off. We took her to the vet to have her checked out and they said she was a healthy little puppy about 8 weeks old. So we took her home. She has been happy and fun. Dominick and Piper have become great pals and Sammy has finally warmed up to having a young whipper snapper in the house. He even gets down to play. Brittin is begging to have her sleep down in her room, which I would love, but Piper is too young and still gets up to go outside in the middle of the night. Believe me as soon as she sleeps through the night she is going down stairs. I hate having dogs in my bed. Piper is a great dog and she has been so fun to have...and you can't resist her cute little face.
