Well Brittin had her 11th Birthday! I can't believe my little Brit isn't so little anymore. Her Birthday was so great. Shawn was gone on her Birthday so we had planned to postpone until Saturday when he got home. During the week Brittin's friend called her up and invited her and Shawn on a Daddy daughter date with her and a couple of Brittin's other friends and their Dad's. Brittin was so excited. This was to take place on the very day that we had deemed her Birthday. So at lunch time Shawn and Brittin headed out to go to Chick-Fil-A for lunch and to see The Lightning Theif. She had such a great time giggling with her friends and enjoying time with her Dad all to herself. When they got home we had a little Birthday party for her here complete with the traditional decorating of individual heart cakes. We had a great time! Shawn even graced us with his off tune version of Happy Birthday which he belted out as loud as he could. I would have to say we all enjoyed her Birthday. Thanks Brittin for a wonderful evening together as a family! Happy Birthday!
