It's all about the boots!

Today is Friday! For my kids it is Halloween because Halloween is on Sunday this year. Holland had a hard time figuring out what to be this year. I was looking for something I didn't have to buy. You know how it goes. I was thinking of all the dress ups we have and thought "you should be Jesse." From Toy Story. She wasn't hip on the idea. Then I said "And you could wear those cute black boots you have been wanting to wear all year." Immediately she said "Oh I want to be Jesse."

To explain: We opened the box of 7/8 clothes that used to be Brittin's to give to Holland. In the box there were these cute black anckle boots. Holland instantly fell in love. She has tried to put them with any outfit she could but they really only look good with pants. She tried to put them with her Sunday dress...that was a no! Then shorts, absolutely not. I told her she would have to wait until it cooled off to wear them. She has been patiently waiting for it to get cold and when the opportunity came up to use them with her costume she took it. So cute and she couldn't wait to put them on this morning. She said "Oh mom I have to put on my boots or I wouldn't look like Jesse." So here she is Jesse and her boots.




On a side note Dominick had to have freckles too. So dang cute!
